මේ මහා පූජාව දායකත්වයන් ලබා දුන් බෝසත් විශ්මකර්ම පදනමේ සත්පුරුෂ කළ්යාණමිත්ර පින්වතුන් සැමටත් දැකබලා සතුටු වන පින්වත් සැමටත් නිදුක් නීරෝගි සුවපත් භාවය දීර්ඝායුෂ පිණිසත්, මේ උතුම් වූ චතුරාර්ය සත්ය ධර්මයෝ සුඛා පටිපදාවෙන්ම අවබෝධ කරගැනීම පිණිසත් හේතූ උපකාරයක්ම වේවා 🙏
සැදැහැවත් බෞද්ධ කුලපුත්රයෙකු විසින් ධර්ම සංවේගය උදෙසා වැඳ පුදා ගත යුතු තථාගතයන් වහන්සේගේ ජීවිතය හා බැඳුනු ස්ථාන හතරක් ඇති බව වදාළ සේක. තවද, ‘‘ආනන්දය, මේ පූජනීය ස්ථාන වැඳුම් පිදුම් කිරීමට එන අය පහන් සිතින් යුතුව අතරමගදී මිය ගියත් මරණයෙන් මතු සුගතිගාමී වනු ඇත’’ යනුවෙන් ද වදාළ සේක. මේ ස්ථානයන්ට සතර සංවේජනීය ස්ථාන ලෙස පවසනු ලැබේ. ඒවා පහත පරිදි වේ.
1. සිද්ධාර්ථ කුමරුන් උපත ලද ස්ථානය, එනම් ලූම්බිණිය
2. සිද්ධාර්ථ තාපසතුමන් බුදුබව ලැබූ ස්ථානය, එනම් බුද්ධගයාව
3. බුදුන් වහන්සේ ප්රථම ධර්ම දේශනාව පැවැත්වූ ස්ථානය, එනම් ඉසිපතනයේ මිගදාය
4. බුදුන් වහන්සේ පිරිනිවන් පෑ ස්ථානය, එනම් කුසිනාරාව
මෙලෙසම සියළුම බුදුවරුන් විසින් අත් නොහරින, සුවිශේෂී වූ භූමි හතරක් මෙලොව පවතී. අත් නොහරින යන තේරුම ඇති අවිජහිත ස්ථානයන් ලෙස ඒවා හඳුන්වනු ලබයි. ඒවා පහත පරිදි වේ.
1. සිද්ධාර්ථ තාපසතුමන් බුදුබව ලැබූ ස්ථානය, එනම් බුද්ධගයාව
2. බුදුන් වහන්සේ ප්රථම ධර්ම දේශනාව පැවැත්වූ ස්ථානය, එනම් ඉසිපතනයේ මිගදාය
3. මාතෘ දිව්යරාජයාට අභිධර්මය දේශනා කර නැවත මනුලොවට පා තැබූ ස්ථානය, එනම් සංකස්ස
4. බුදුන් වහන්සේ පිරිනිවන් පෑ ස්ථානය, එනම් කුසිනාරාව
සංවේජනීය ස්ථාන හා අවිජහිත ස්ථාන වන්දනා කරගැනීම වෙනුවෙන් සිදුකළා වූ උපකාරක පූජාවක් සේ සිතා මනසින් අනුමෝදන් වෙත්වා 🙏
“දසබලයන්වහන්සේ නමැති ශෛලමය පර්වතයෙන් පැන නැඟී, අමා මහ නිවන නම් වූ මහා සාගරය අවසන් කොට ඇති, ආර්ය අෂ්ටාංගික මාර්ගය නම් වූ සිහිල් දිය දහරින් හෙබි, උතුම් ශ්රීමුඛ බුද්ධවචන ගංගාවෝ, ලෝ සතුන්ගේ සසර දුක් නිවාලමින්, බොහෝ කල් ගලා බස්නා සේක්වා!”

A Noble Offering for a Sacred Journey
A meritorious act of generosity was carried out to support a venerable monk residing at the guest quarters of Paethis Wewa Temple in Anuradhapura.
With the intention of facilitating a pilgrimage to Dambadiva (India), a financial contribution of:
- LKR 100,000
was generously donated by the devoted members of the Bosath Vishwakarma Foundation.

The Significance of the Pilgrimage
For a devoted Buddhist, visiting the sacred sites connected to the life of the Tathagata (Lord Buddha) holds profound spiritual value.
The Buddha himself declared that there are four sacred places that inspire deep faith and reflection:
- Lumbini – The birthplace of Prince Siddhartha
- Bodh Gaya – The place of Enlightenment
- Isipathanaya (Sarnath) – Where the first sermon was delivered
- Kusinara (Kushinagar) – Where the Buddha attained Parinirvana
It is said that those who visit these places with a pure and devoted mind, even if they pass away during the journey, will be reborn in a fortunate realm.
The Four Unchanging Sacred Sites
In addition to the four main places, there are also four unchanging sacred locations (Avijahita Sthana), never abandoned by all Buddhas:
- Bodh Gaya – Enlightenment
- Isipathanaya (Sarnath) – First sermon
- Sankassa – The descent from the heavenly realm after preaching Abhidhamma
- Kusinara (Kushinagar) – Parinirvana
This offering can be regarded as a supportive act enabling the veneration of these deeply sacred sites.
