අක්කර 200 කට අධික භූමි භාගයක පබ්බත විහාර සම්ප්‍රදායට නිර්මාණය කර ඇති දළදා වහන්සේ වැඩ සිටියායැයි ජනප්‍රවාදයේ සඳහන් වව්නියාව සපුමල්ගස්කඩ ඓතිහාසික පුදබිමේ වැඩ සිටින දේශිය විදේශීය භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලා උදෙසා සිදු කළ අසිරිමත් සිව්පස දානය.

දැක බලා අනුමෝදන් වෙත්වා !

උදෑසන සහ දහවල උතුම් වූ භාග්‍යවතුන් වහන්සේ උදෙසා අග්‍ර වූ දානමය කොටස පූජා කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව පින්වත් මහ සඝරුවනට දන් පැන් පූජා කොට, අවශේෂ දානමය කොටස ගිහි කැපකරුවන්, කුටිසෙනසුන් සකස් කරන පින්තුනට පූජා කරගන්නට විය.

මෙම උත්තම පූජාව සදහා ගෞරවණීය දායකත්වය
මාලිම්බඩ – ජීවන්ති ලක්මාලි මහත්මිය ඇතුළු පවුලේ සැම දායකත්වයන් ලබා දෙන්නට විය.

බෝසත් විශ්මකර්ම පදනම මගින් ලබා දුන් 1117 වන දානමය පින්කම මෙය වේ.

“නත්ථි චිත්තෙ පසන්නම්හි
අප්පකා නාම දක්ඛිණා
තථාගතෙ වා සම්බුද්ධෙ
අථ වා තස්ස සාවකෙ”

බුදුන් කෙරෙහි ද බුදු සව්වන් කෙරෙහි ද පහන් සිත් ඇතිව දුන් දානයෙහි විපාකය ස්වල්ප වන්නේ නොවේ.

මේ මහා පින්කම තුළින් මතු වූ සියලු පින්,

දායකත්වයන් ලබා දුන් සැමටත්,

සපුමල්ගස්කඩ සහ කුරුන්දි ඓතිහාසික පුදබිමේ භාරකාර,
උතුරු පළාත් ප්‍රධාන සංඝනායක අති පූජණීය ගල්ගමුවේ සන්තබෝධි නායක මාහිමිපාණන් වහන්සේ ඇතුලු මහා සංඝරත්නයටත්,

බෝසත් විශ්මකර්ම පදනමේ සත්පුරුෂ කළ්‍යාණමිත්‍ර පින්වතුන් සැමටත්,

දැක බලා සතුටුවන සැමටත්,

නිදුක් නීරෝගී සුවපත් භාවය දීර්ඝායුෂ පිණිසත්,

ආයූ වර්ණ සැප බල ප්‍රඥා වැඩීම පිණිසත්,

මේ ඝෝර කටුක භයානක සසරින් මිදී උතුම් වූ චතුරාර්‍ය සත්‍ය ධර්මය පහසුවෙන්ම අවබෝධය පිණිසත් හේතූ උපකාරයක්ම වේවා 🙏

An auspicious offering of the Four Requisites (Sivpasa Dana) was conducted for the local and foreign Maha Sangha residing at the historic sacred site of Sapumalgaskada, Vavuniya.

This revered site, spread across more than 200 acres, is said in legend to be a place where the Sacred Tooth Relic once resided. The temple complex has been constructed in accordance with the ancient Pabbatha Vihara monastic tradition, preserving the serene forest-monastery heritage of Sri Lanka.

May all who see and rejoice in this meritorious deed share in its blessings!

The Offering

In the morning and at noon, the foremost portion of the alms was reverently offered to the Blessed One. Thereafter:

The noble Maha Sangha were respectfully offered food and drinks.
The remaining portion was offered to lay stewards and devotees who assist in preparing kuti dwellings and maintaining the monastery.

This meritorious act marks the 1,117th almsgiving conducted by the Bosath Vishwakarma Foundation.

Dhamma Verse

“Natthi citte pasannamhi
Appakā nāma dakkhiṇā
Tathāgate vā sambuddhe

When a gift is offered with a serene and faithful mind to the Buddha or to His disciples, the result of that offering is never small.
