Two Sacred Sambuddha Statues and a Pair of Sacred Sambuddha Seats Offered to the Noble Place That Shares the Nectar of Dhamma Throughout 365 Days

With the generous contributions of the noble and devoted donors of the Bosath Vishwakarma Foundation, two magnificent life-like Sambuddha statues and two sacred Sambuddha seats, valued at nearly two million rupees, were offered on Vesak Full Moon Day to the Colombo Sambodhi Vihara premises, the headquarters of The Buddhist TV and Radio, the Buddhist media network of the nation.

On this blessed occasion, a sacred relic exposition of the Supreme Buddha’s relics and the relics of great Arahants was also held by Mr. Isuru Eranda and the Sasunketha Aswaddamu Friends Group. We were truly fortunate to worship those sacred relics as well.

For the two Sambuddha statues and the two sacred Sambuddha seats, contributions were made by Mr. Lahiru Udara from Ratnapura and Dr. Lagath Wanigabadu from the United Kingdom, representing the Bosath Vishwakarma Foundation.

For the two beautifully carved Sambuddha seats, contributions were also made by Mrs. Bhagya Premathilaka from Kandy, Mrs. Irusha Kulathunga from Kadawatha, Mrs. Chandrani M. Jayarathna from Bahrain and other noble donors of the Bosath Vishwakarma Foundation.

This daily meritorious offering was carried out with the blessings of the Most Venerable Boralande Vajiragnana Nayaka Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Colombo Sambodhi Maha Viharaya and the respected Chairman of The Buddhist Media Network.

It was also conducted under the guidance of Mr. Kalyana Alawattegama, Programme Director of The Buddhist Media Network.

Through this great meritorious act, when noble Dhamma offerings are carried out throughout all 365 days of the year, Sambuddha offerings and flower offerings will be made before these sacred Sambuddha statues and upon these sacred Sambuddha seats.

Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu!

May these Sambuddha statues and sacred Sambuddha seats become a supreme offering to this great blessed place where noble and continuous meritorious deeds are performed.
